DJ RAPTURE
DJ Rapture started spinning' in 2003 under the direction of DJ Lamont Young of Finger-snaps. In 2005, she really wanted to put her skills to the test by starting her DJ career at ksrh 88.1FM with Butta Fantastik. After good feedback from the radio station and listeners she was recruited by Bay Areas own Baby James with the aid of Butta Fantastik.
In 2005, it was the rise of DJ Rapture. She was playing all over the Bay Area with Baby James/Ghetto Retro click which consist of R.O.D, Sam Hill, Butta Fantastic, and others. In that same year she started spinning for Coochielicious at the Bench and Bar in Oakland under the direction of Ms. Lana. So, far Rapture was excited about the opportunities that she was getting and the excitement of doing what she loved the most which was music.
In 2006, after a year of spinning in the Bay Area as a whole she decided that it was time for her to be more active in spinning in her LGBT community. Once she made that decision, she was recruited by DJ Olga T and Ms. Christina of Butterfly Productions. She was very excited about the timing and accepted the opportunity. In the same year she started to spin for Pink Panties under the direction of Mack Misstress. After doing a few parties with Mack Misstress at Pink Panties, Mack Misstress ask Rapture to DJ for her when she perform at other parties.

-Currently, I am resident DJ DJ/Sound Manager for Mack Misstress/Miss tress ENT./ Electric Affair.

-I am also affiliated with Coast To Coast Mix tape DJ’s. (Coast To Coast works with music Moguls as well as singers such as Tone Trump).

- NIA COLLECTIVE (NIA Collective was created by and for Lesbians of African descent. The organization was founded in 1987 during the Black Caucus at the Lesbian of Color Conference in San Francisco.)
